Marbella "Albergue"

The Colegio Albergue is situated at just a 5 minute walk from the old quarter of Marbella, a city characterized by small, picturesque streets, white-washed buildings, colorful flowers and lively plazas. This unique, convenient location allows the students to partake in Marbella's vibrant summer life: they can shop, chat, enjoy a refreshment on any number of sunny terraces, or simply stroll and enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.

The camp's proximity to the center of town makes it the perfect setting for our older, independent students. Participants aged 16 to 18 complete a solid program of 5 language lessons per day plus sports, workshops and excursions.

For older, mature students, we allow variable curfew times and the option of leaving campus with groups of friends. Our Colegio Albergue campers become integrated into the city's daily rhythm and events, with the added benefit of being only 10 minutes away from the beach at any given moment!

Summer Camp options

We offer you 3 Summer Camp program options so you can choose the best one for your child:

• A) Summer Camp: Intense Spanish course and in-house residence, either in a residence hall or host family. It makes for an unforgettable experience in which the student continuously interacts with other youngsters and teens 24 hours a day.
• B) Day Camp: Student participates in all camp activities, including the language course. No lodging included.
• C) Language Course Only: Student shares Spanish language classes with other camp youngsters. Does not include camp activities or lodging.

Facilities: The Marbella Albergue Camp is a large, fenced-in complex set in a peaceful neighborhood. don Quijote counselors are on-call 24 hours a day to ensure the campers’ comfort and safety. The main building includes a 24-hour reception desk, vending machines, a public phone, a dining room, a TV/video room, and 3 different conference rooms that fit either 20, 30 or 60 people. Outside, students enjoy a large swimming pool, 3 multipurpose sports fields, tennis courts, expansive green gardens and an open-air terrace.

Capacity: 180 students.

Accommodation: Students live in a residence hall with bedrooms dispersed throughout the various floors. There are doubles, triples, quads and six-person rooms; some of the doubles feature private bathrooms and the rest use shared restrooms located in the hallways.

Optional Sports: Tennis, golf, horseback riding.

Age Group: from 16 to 18 years old.

Permission: Available under the specified terms.

Marbella "Alborán"

The Marbella Alborán Camp is located on a beautiful property. The campus covers 38,000 m2 and is amply shaded by a surrounding thick wood of pine trees, which creates a tranquil, pleasant atmosphere. Just 8 km (13 miles) from the centre of Marbella and a short ride from the Hotel Don Carlos and the city's General Hospital, our prestigious centre is also a 15-minute walk from the beach!

Facilities: The camp's central building consists of the dorm rooms, a dining hall, and a residential area for counsellors and coaches. Sports facilities include a large swimming pool; showers; a covered, multipurpose sports area; a paddleball court; 2 soccer fields (one grass and one paved); a basketball/mini-soccer court; a handball court and two stables. There is also a newsstand, a game hall and a large farmhouse that accommodates a variety of activities.

Capacity: 220 residential students.

Accommodation: The Marbella Alborán Camp's residence rooms are furnished with bunk beds and closets and accommodate 8-12 students, grouped according to age and sex. At least one counsellor sleeps in each bedroom to supervise the campers.

Age Group:

• Group 1: from 13 to 15 years old
• Group 2: from 16 to 18 years old

Optional Sports: Horseback riding, tennis, paddleball, golf, swimming.

Permission to Leave the Grounds: Only under the expressed request of parents or guardians.

Marbella "Alemán"

The Marbella Alemán Camp is located on a hilltop 12 km (19 miles) from the center of Marbella, facing the renowned Hotel Don Carlos.

Set in one of Marbella's nicest residential areas, the Colegio Alemán is a very prestigious school with the finest facilities. From either side of the 30,000 m2 campus you can view a different coastline -either Marbella or Estepona- and the beach is just a 15 minute walk away!

Facilities: The Colegio's principal building houses the student residences, dining hall, a conference room, a cafeteria, and various common areas. Classrooms are located in a separate building, adjacent to the sports centre.
Our wide range of facilities include an indoor/outdoor multipurpose activities centre, a pool, extensive gardens, a football (soccer) field, 2 volleyball courts, a basketball court and a handball court.

Capacity: 220 residential students.

Accommodation:.

• For the older campers, each residence room has its own toilet and shower that is shared by 5 to 6 students.
• Younger campers sleep in rooms of 6 to 10 with shared showers and toilets (with counselor supervision).
• Students are grouped according to age and gender.
• All residential students are on full board, 7 days/week. The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner. On days that the students leave the premises to participate in special activities or trips, they will be provided a lunch and snack bag.

• Group 2: from 11 to 13 years old
